About Me

I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Florida State University. During my 3 years in Tallahassee I spent part of my time volunteering as a suicide hotline counselor for Lifeline (1-800-273-8255). I also operated the 211-Helpline and the Parent helpline (1-800-352-5683). After graduating I moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida’s Masters program for Counselor Education. I graduated with a specialty in Addictions and other issues related therein. During my graduate program I interned at Seminole Behavioral Health Center’s Duel Diagnose Inpatient facility for men and women suffering from both mental health and substance abuse issues.
